At TeaWood, breakfast takes on a charming twist, with valuable offerings available from 7:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. One standout is the Rice Vermicelli with Marinated Minced Pork and Scrambled Eggs, a deliciously comforting dish priced at just HK$41. It's a perfect start to the day, combining robust flavors with satisfying textures.
For those craving something more daring, the Spicy Noodles with Spicy Stewed Beef and Tendon is not to be missed. Priced at HK$99, the exquisite soup base has garnered rave reviews for its deep, savory essence—a true reflection of authentic Taiwanese cooking.
Cusomter reviews highlight the Beef Noodle Soup as a must-try, with one enthusiastic patron, Mag, lauding its handmade noodles and rich broth. With each slurp, you experience the chef's dedication to flavor—an unforgettable dish that lingers long after the last bite.
However, not all experiences have been universally stellar. While some enjoy the lunch sets, others have found certain menu items, like the popcorn chicken and desserts, to be less remarkable. Vincent Leung noted the cozy, bright ambiance, making it a pleasant spot to unwind, though he remarked on food quality being just okay.
Overall, TeaWood offers a cozy environment serving a mix of delightful and average dishes. While some patrons feel that pricing can lead to dissatisfaction regarding portion sizes, the standout items, such as the beef noodle soup and breakfast offerings, keep drawing the crowds—though they might not be as large as expected. A visit here could be worthwhile, particularly for those who appreciate a well-crafted bowl of noodles.
In the vibrant setting of YOHO Mall, TeaWood invites you to savor authentic Taiwanese flavors and explore dishes that may vary from the extraordinary to the traditional—perfect for your next food adventure.
“ Idk why no one raves about their taiwanese beef noodle soup but their soup base is really delicious and their noodle is handmade and has an amazing chew to it. Tons of beef in it too. Everything else on their menu is kind of hit or miss (their popcorn chicken, drinks) but I only go there for the beef noodle soup ”
“ Dessert is fine but not outstanding. ”
“ Lunch set is worthy ”
“ Cozy, bright environment. Food quality okay. ”
“ Finally no large crowds so can try it out. Food was ok, nothing too spectacular. Price vs portion was a bit high. Minimum main entree was $70+, but leaves you feeling hungry still. Not a place you will expect to go often to, for the above reasons. ”
“ Nice Taiwan tea house. The desert toasts are wonderful. ”
“ Tea wood is moving to new place, yoho II shop no. 343, I don’t know if there’s only temporary.. Still look new, can’t use cash for payment.. overall, everything is ok ”
“ Chill and relaxing Taiwanese food restaurant, reasonable priced lunch set $80 with two small appetizers, one main with rice/noodle, and a drink. ”
